Anything Web Development - I have been a web engineer for 10 years. The web holds a special place in my heart as one of the greatest inventions. The accessibility to easily build and share applications is something very important to me.
VR + AR + XR - I love working with physical things as well as writing software. Virtual Reality is the intersection of the physical and virtual world with infinite possibilities.
AI - Since learning to build web applications, working with AI and LLMs to build products has been the most fun I've had building software.
Strategic Positioning - Thinking strategically about products is one of my favorite things to do. It's what gets me excited about eventually making the software. What is the job of this product? What makes it different, and how is it better than the status quo or current alternatives?
Product Management - Product Management is more important than I thought. It's the bridge between vision and real-world engineering that allows a product to be shipped.
Usability and Design - Design to me is a balance between pushing boundaries while working within the bounds of people's abilities. The best designs might start out differently but then converge to be inviting, comfortable, and hopefully timeless.
Hobbies - Always open to talking about what people love to do. My hobbies are skateboarding and basketball.
